TELEPHONE: 830-378-5533 * FAX: 830-378-5580 * CAMP: 830-378-5431 2005-2006 HUNTING SEASONWHITETAIL TROPHY BUCK—one that scores at least 140 Boone & Crockett gross points. There is a $4,000 deposit to book a 3-day hunt—lodging is included. The deposit must be paid before arrival and is non-refundable. Also included in a 3-day hunt, if time permits, are a doe and hog. Offer not extended past the original hunt. A trophy hunt begins at $4,000 for a 140 B&C class deer. Deer with drop tines will be priced individually. Cost is determined by Boone and Crockett gross score with a base price of $4,000 for a 140 B&C point buck and an additional $150 for each B&C point over 140. For example: A deer that scores 144 B&C points would cost $4,600. This price scale would continue at $150 for each B&C point up to a 159 7/8’s class deer. A 160 B&C class deer begins at $7,000 with $300 per B&C point added for anything 160 and above, up to a 179 7/8 gross. This is going up the scale by adding $300 a B&C point. A 180 B&C class deer begins at $15,000 with $350 for each additional B&C point up to 189 7/8. A 190 B&C class deer begins at $20,000 with $1,000 for each additional B&C point up to 199 7/8. A 200 B&C class deer begins at $30,000 and may be priced in advance by owner. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE THE DEER WE WANT TO BE HARVESTED. WE HAVE SOME TROPHY DEER THAT WILL BE PRICED INDIVIDUALLY.MANAGEMENT DEER: There is a $2,500 non-refundable deposit required to book a 2-day hunt—lodging is included. All deer are chosen by guide. These mature deer will score 129 7/8’s B/C gross or less and have no more than 8 points and an 18-inch inside spread. Even if the deer scores higher than 130, no extra charge will be made. However, if the hunter declines the deer selected for him and decides to upgrade or choose his own, then if his choice scores 130 up to 139 7/8's, there will be additional charges of $100 a B/C point for deer scoring above 129 7/8. Example: A deer chosen by the hunter that scores 134 will have $400 added to the base price of $2,500. Total cost would be $2,900. This applies to mature 8-point deer with no abnormal points or kickers whether they be less than 1" or not. Trophy price scale will be used if his chosen deer scores 140 B/C or more. The deposit of $2500 would apply toward the total cost. If time permits, a doe and hog are included. FATHER / MOTHER / RELATIVE WITH DAUGHTER / SON / RELATIVE (AGE 16 OR YOUNGER) HUNTING PACKAGE:Children aged 16 or younger who accompany a relative with at least one paid "TROPHY HUNT" qualify for a cull deer hunt for an additional $500 fee OR $1,000 with one paid "MANAGEMENT HUNT." As in all other packages, the meals are extra, but lodging is included. Unlimited hogs are included for the youth.
A shot deer belongs to the hunter. Every attempt will be made to find the wounded animal. The landowner or guide will determine who carries a gun on this search. If dogs are used, it will be at the hunter's expense. The cost of the deer will be determined by the guess estimate made before the shot if the deer isn't found. A refund will be made if later the deer is found and scores less than first thought. If, on the other hand, the deer scores higher, then the hunter is expected to pay the balance. Doe hunts - $300 for one doe or $500 for 2 (same hunter/same day) if available and in season Spikes - $300 for one spike or $500 for 2 (same hunter/same day) We reserve the right to choose the spikes to be harvested for this price. YOU FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU HAVE PASSED UP A DEER THAT FALLS IN THE CATEGORY OF THE PACKAGE HUNT YOU HAVE SELECTED. We want to give you the best opportunity for every day of your hunt and, if circumstances beyond our control affected your hunt, we will extend it beyond the regular hunt with no guide fee added (you only pay for additional days of lodging and meals at $125 a day). However, if you have turned down a trophy deer for a paid trophy hunt or a management deer for a paid management deer hunt for any reason, then there will be additional charges for extra days. A charge of $300 a day will be assessed for additional days of a hunt. These charges will be above the cost of the deer. For example: Cost of a 140class deer would be $4,000. If you hunted an additional 3 days, you would owe an additional $900. The total would then be $4,900. Additional days for a hunt will have to be worked around our booked schedule. We would never affect another hunter's opportunity to have a good hunt. Additional days could follow your hunt if no one is booked, but if there is a conflict, then we would have to work additional days around open time. If you have turned down opportunities to shoot and extra days can't be worked in, either because of your schedule or ours, then you forfeit your deposit. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR HUNT, YOU FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT. If you cannot come on your scheduled date, we will make every effort to reschedule for you. THERE ARE SEVERAL LOCAL CONTESTS (see page 6). THE HUNTER IS RESPONSIBLE TO ENTER IF HE CHOOSES TO DO SO. WE WILL HELP YOU GET YOUR DEER IN TO BE SCORED. IN CASE OF A DIFFERENCE IN THE SCORING AT MORE THAN ONE CONTEST, THE SCORE WILL BE AVERAGED.
