| The Jacobs Ranch is located in the "Golden
Triangle of South Texas Hunting," 5 1/2 miles south of Dilley, 10 miles
north of Cotulla, and 5 miles west of IH35. A natural fly way and nesting area
for doves gives hunters one of the best places in South Texas for dove hunting.
We also have several tanks thoughout the property that are natural attractions
to doves. Our quail population has always been good even when others have a
decrease in birds. We feed deer 12 months a year and have
special fenced areas just for the deer in order to give them the added protein
we feel is needed. The turkey population is quite large; the large hackberry
trees growing on the banks of the Cibolo Creek are an attraction that helps keep
the turkeys on our place. Hog hunting is available year round.
