TROPHY WHITETAIL
BUCKS
Available for hunting are
trophy whitetail bucks, management bucks, does, and spikes (with us
reserving the right to choose those to be harvested). A detailed
price list is available by mail, email, or FAX.
-
All deer hunts are
guided.
-
All weapons must be
sighted in before hunt begins.
-
No ammunition will be
allowed in weapons until hunter is in the blind and only then with
the permission of the guide.
-
No smoking or drinking
of alcoholic beverages before or during hunting in
stands.
-
A shot deer belongs to
the hunter. Every attempt will be made to find the wounded animal.
The landowner or guide will determine who carries a gun on this
search. If dogs are used, it will be at the hunter's expense. The
cost of the deer will be determined by the guess estimate made
before the shot if the deer isn't found. A refund will be made if
later the deer is found and scores less than first thought. If, on
the other hand, the deer scores higher, then the hunter is
expected to pay the balance.
-
A Jacobs Ranch release
must be signed and turned in before each hunt. All blanks must be
properly filled out, including name, address, telephone, driver's
license, and Texas Hunting License number.
We want to give you the
best opportunity for every day of your hunt and, if circumstances
beyond our control affect your hunt, we will extend it beyond the
regular hunt. However, if for any reason you have turned down a
trophy deer for a paid trophy hunt or a management deer for a paid
management deer hunt, then there will be additional charges for extra
days. Additional days for a hunt will have to be worked around our
booked schedule. We would never affect another hunter's opportunity
to have a good hunt. Additional days could follow your hunt if no one
is booked, but if there is a conflict, then we would have to work
additional days around open time. If you have turned down
opportunities to shoot and extra days can't be worked in, either
because of your schedule or ours, then you forfeit your
deposit.
